Ukraine Crisis: Boxing legends Klitschko brothers vow to take up arms to end 'senseless war'

Boxing legend and now a Ukrainian politician Vitali Klitschko along with his brother Wladimir Klitschko have vowed to take up arms to fight the Russian invasion. The former heavyweight boxing champion who has been the mayor of Kyiv since 2014 said that he and his brother, Wladimir who is a fellow Hall of Famer, have no choice but to fight for their country. 

Both the brothers alongside, in a video message, appealed to end the senseless war.

This senseless war is not going to have any winners, but losers, Wladimir said calling upon the international partners to stand united with them against the Russian aggression. 
Don't let it continue happening in Ukraine, don't let it happen in Europe and eventually in the world, they added.

As a mayor, Vitali Klitschko has declared an emergency in the city of Kyiv which is under martial law.
