And it were the girls who took India over the 100-medal mark for the first time in Asian Games history as India won Gold in women's kabaddi, beating Chinese Taipei 26-24 in a thrilling final.
Interestingly, After finishing at the top of the podium in 2010 and 2014, India settled for silver in the 2018 Asiad but the women were back to where they belonged in Hangzhou.
What made the victory sweeter was the fact that India beat a team they didn't defeat in the group stage.
