Wimbledon runner-up Nick Kyrgios has been handed a wildcard into next month's Western and Southern Open in Cincinnati, Ohio.

This will be Kyrgios' sixth appearance in Cincinnati and first since 2019. The entry list for the tournament includes world number one Daniil Medvedev and former champions Alexander Zverev, Grigor Dimitrov, Marin Cilic and Rafael Nadal.

Two-time champion Novak Djokovic is also on the entry list but is likely to miss the tournament due to his refusal to be vaccinated against Covid-19. Non-residents entering the United States need to have proof of vaccination.

27-year-old Kyrgios made it to his first-ever grand slam singles final at Wimbledon 2 weeks ago but lost to Novak Djokovic.
