India star paddler Manika Batra welcomed the Delhi High Court's order that suspended the Table Tennis Federation of India following her petition.

In a statement, Batra said that she is grateful to the Indian government and everyone else who stood by her.

Batra further added that she had to endure a very difficult situation just before the Olympics which had an adverse effect on her game in Tokyo.

Earlier, Manika had filed a petition in the Delhi High Court after a snub from the team for Asian Championships. In the order, High Court said in its judgment that allegations of match-fixing levelled by Batra showed that the Table Tennis federation safeguarded the interest of its officials instead of promoting players.
