Novak Djokovic was placed in the men's draw at the Indian Wells in California on Tuesday, although it remains to be seen whether the world number two will be allowed to enter the United States.

Djokovic isn't vaccinated against Covid-19. US authorities require visitors to be vaccinated to enter the country. Additionally, tournament officials have said that everyone at Indian Wells must be fully vaccinated to be on site.

Djokovic's name was on the entry list when the men’s draw was made on Tuesday, so the five-time tournament champion was included. The Serbian's image was also included on a 'We Miss You' wall of players who are absent from Indian Wells.

Having previously said that he would sit out this year's French Open and Wimbledon Championships rather than get vaccinated, Djokovic's chances of playing at Roland Garros improved last week after it was announced that France will suspend the use of Covid vaccination passports later this month.

He was deported from Australia in January after his visa was cancelled on the eve of the Australian Open.
