Defending champions Belgium played out a thrilling 2-2 draw against their Pool B opponents Germany at the Kalinga Stadium in the Hockey World Cup 2023 on Tuesday.

Belgium's Victor Wegnez scored the equaliser with 5 minutes left on the clock as both teams shared a point each on the night.

In the earlier Pool B game, Korea pipped Japan 2-1 to take home the valuable 3 points which has opened up the group with all 4 teams in the running for a knockout spot.
