Amid the rumours that Saina Nehwal doesn't want to defend her CWG title, the ace shuttler has come out to stop the rumour mongers.

In a series of tweets, Saina wrote that she is surprised to see all the articles stating that she doesn't want to defend her CWG title and Asiad Medal.

The 32-year-old shuttler also added that she is not participating in the trials because she just got back from 3 weeks of Europe events and doesn't want to risk her body.

Notably, the Badminton Association of India has made it clear that players inside the top 15 in BWF rankings will be picked directly. While the remaining spots will be filled from the trials, which is scheduled to take place on April 15-20 in New Delhi.

Saina has won gold and bronze in CWG and Asiad respectively in 2018.
