Gerard Pique's investment group Kosmos Tennis has filed a multimillion-dollar lawsuit against the International Tennis Federation for ending their partnership to organize the Davis Cup.

The suit has been filed at the Court of Arbitration for Sport and Kosmos has accused ITF of 'unjustified termination of contract.'

ITF had earlier this month ended its 25-year-long partnership with Kosmos unilaterally without providing reasons behind the decision. It said it will run this year's Davis Cup on its own.

As per local reports, ITF was also considering legal action against Kosmos for allegedly not meeting the payments that had been agreed upon between the parties.

The former Barcelona player who retired in November 2022 had earlier pledged an investment of $3 billion during the 25-year partnership.
