Voracova entered Australia under the pretext of being exempted from the country's strict Covid-19 vaccination regulations. But the Czech player like Djokovic was detained when Australian border officials judged that she failed to meet entry standards.

In a chat with Czech newspapers, DNES, and Sport, she said that her window is shut tight and she can't open it even five centimetres with guards being everywhere, even under the windows.

She further added that the guards bring food and everything is rationed. It felt a bit like in prison.

The 38-year old Voracova, who is ranked 81st in the doubles, also said that she is waiting for a permit to leave Australia.
