Asian Games 2023: Myneni and Ramanathan settle for silver after losing men's doubles final in Tennis

India had to settle for silver in the men's doubles event in Tennis at the Asian Games.

The pair of Saketh Myneni and Ramkumar Ramanathan lost in straight sets to Chinese Taipei's Jason Jung and Yu-hsiou Tsu.

The Indian duo lost with identical set scores of 4-6, 4-6 in a match that lasted 1 hour and 12 minutes.

This was India's first medal in Tennis at Hangzhou 2022, and their third on day 6 of the Asian Games. The mixed doubles pair of Rohan Bopanna and Rutuja Bhosale have also assured India of a medal and will play later today in the mixed doubles semis.
