Former South African cricketer AB de Villiers and retired tennis star Ashleigh Barty are set to team up for the inaugural Icons Series golf event in Jersey City, USA.

The former Royal Challengers Bangalore batter and the 25-year old tennis star will be representing the Rest of the World team. 28-time Olympic medalist Michael Phelps, football Hall of Famer Michael Strahan and former professional boxer Oscar de la Hoya will be seen playing for Team USA in the event.
Notably, former World no.1 Ashleigh Barty retired in March while 38-year old AB de Villiers retired from international cricket in 2018 and from cricket entirely last year.
The event is scheduled to take place in Jersey City from June 30 to July 1.
