When the hosts were going hell for leather, Axar first cleaned up a dangerous-looking Rohit Sharma for 49. He was then hit for a six by Ishan Kishan but Axar had a perfect revenge as he dismissed the southpaw on the very next ball.
He left Ishan stunned by taking a one-handed screamer in his follow through and his innings short on 42.
