South African pacer Lizaad Williams was bought by the Delhi Capitals at his base price of INR 50 Lakhs as a replacement for Englishman Harry Brook for the ongoing IPL season.
Brook pulled out of the tournament following his grandmother's passing earlier this year.
Williams, a right-arm pacer, has represented the Proteas in two Tests, four One Day Internationals and 11 Twenty20 Internationals since his debut in 2021.
