Kolkata Knight Riders jumped to the 7th spot from the 9th spot in IPL Points Table after Shreyas Iyer-led-team thrashed Mumbai Indians by 52 runs on Monday. Mumbai Indians who suffered the 9th defeat of the season remain at the 10th spot.

Kolkata who now have 10 points from 5 wins have slight chances of qualifying for the playoffs. They have 2 more league games remaining. On the other hand, MI who are already out of play-off contention have 3 more league games remaining.

Lucknow Super Giants continue to top the IPL 2022 points table with 8 wins in 11 matches followed by Gujarat Titans, who have the same number of wins in as many matches. But the top two teams in IPL 2022 points table are separated by Lucknow's superior net run rate.
