Though their Pune games are much later, the Andy Flower coached team, Lucknow Super Giants took a 3-hour long trip to Pune from Mumbai on Thursday to get the feel of the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium on Thursday. Super Giants who have won 3 games out of their 5 so far went to the Pune stadium for playing under the lights, coach Andy Flower said.

He further said that they wanted the players who haven't played at MCA to get a feel of the ground and know how to play under the lights. Flower also said the players needed to practice on the ground's square as well. Evin Lewis, Manish Pandey, and Manan Vohra practiced in the nets as the team prepared for their 6th match of the IPL 2022 season.

Lucknow who will play next against Mumbai Indians on Saturday will only begin playing the matches in Pune in the last week of April. The team will play 3 matches in Pune starting Aril 29th against Punjab Kings, followed by a match against KKR on May 7th and their last match in Pune is on 10th May against Gujarat Titans.
