Streets of Surat buzzed with MS Dhoni chants as the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) began their training for IPL 2022 in the state of Gujarat.
Hundreds of fans lined up to welcome the yellow army and to get a glimpse of Thala Dhoni as the CSK team bus arrived at the stadium. With the Chennai pitch clay-based, the Super Kings decided to practise in Surat as the wicket there is similar to those in Mumbai and Pune.
The Super Kings are among the first few teams to get their preparations underway for the 15th edition of the IPL as they started their pre-season camp on March 8.
