Rain had the final say at the Ekana Stadium as both the Lucknow Super Giants & Chennai Super Kings took home a point each.

Having been put into bat, Lucknow started dreadfully, losing half their side for just 44 runs on the board. They meandered to 62/5 after 14 overs before Ayush Badoni played a sensational knock for the home side.

Badoni's incredible 33-ball 59 saw Lucknow double their score in the next 5 overs.

However, the umpires had to call for the covers when the rain came with Lucknow 125/7 after 19.2 overs, and no play was possible after that.
