IND vs SL: Jasprit Bumrah returns as BCCI announce updated squad for ODI series

Indian pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah has been included in the squad for the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka. 

Bumrah missed the T20 World Cup in September after his lower-back stress injury resurfaced ahead of the T20I extravaganza Down Under.

Since then the 29-year-old pacer was at National Cricket Academy undergoing rehabilitation.

Now that he has been declared fit by NCA, he has been drafted into the side for the 50-overs contests.

The three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka will begin on January 10 in Guwahati.

India's updated squad for Sri Lanka ODIs:  Rohit Sharma (Captain), Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul (wk), Ishan Kishan (wk), Hardik Pandya (VC), Washington Sundar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohd. Shami, Mohd. Siraj, Umran Malik, Arshdeep Singh.
