New Zealand's semifinals hopes hangs by a thread, at the complete mercy of Bengaluru's weather.

Their previous clash at the Chinnaswamy Stadium saw them lose through the DLS method to Pakistan after incessant rains washed out the game.

As Kane Williamson & Co look to seal the fourth spot, weather channel AccuWeather predicts a 49% chance of rain at 2 PM, when the game is scheduled to begin.

A cloud cover is expected throughout the day with thunderstorms likely at 3 PM and 6 PM, as per AccuWeather.

The temperature is also predicted to dip as the evening progresses.
