Just as Pakistan take on New Zealand in a fate-decider, former England cricketer Michael Vaughan took a dig at the Men in Green.

In a video post, Vaughan wrote that World Cup doesn’t start until there’s controversy with Pakistan.

'Until someone falls-out… I don’t understand why don’t they sack everyone the day the tournament starts off. Everyone resigns… they’d win every World Cup. What are they waiting for?' Vaughan said in the video.

Reposting that video, the 49-year-old wrote that it has been too calm the past few days making him worry about Pakistan.

In a direct dig at the Pakistan Cricket Board, he concluded, 'they need someone to resign today or leak a WhatsApp message (sic)'.

Vaughan was seemingly refering to the drama that unfolded last week within the governing body following the resignation of chief selector Inzamam-Ul-Haq and another incident involving a leaked chat purportedly of Pakistan captain Babar Azam.
