In a major blow to the Lucknow Super Giants, skipper KL Rahul is unlikely to take any further part in IPL 2023.

According to PTI, Rahul will travel to Mumbai for scans and the further course of action will be decided depending on the scan results.

The LSG captain sustained a hip flexor injury while fielding against RCB and limped off the field.

Rahul is also part of India's World Test Championship final squad and it will be a race against time for him to get fit before the final vs Australia on June 7.
