Brazilian football legend Pele was hospitalized in Sao Paulo to regulate the medication for a colon tumor, his daughter said on Wednesday.
Kely Nascimento added the 82-year-old is in "no emergency" or "new dire prediction."
According to reports, the three-time World Cup champion was taken to Hospital Albert Einstein due to "general swelling."
Pelé won the FIFA World Cup back in 1958, 1962, and 1970 and remains Brazil's all-time leading scorer with 77 goals in 92 matches.
