FIFA’s Player of the Century

Brazilian legend Pele will go down in history as the greatest of all time.

Nicknamed ‘The King’, he is the only player in history to win the biggest trophy of them all, the FIFA World Cup, thrice.

He was just 17 when he won his first World Cup and the boy genius went on to win two more. He probably could have won more but he decided to retire from the national team at just 30 years of age.

Pele was the one who made the words  ‘the beautiful game’ synonymous with football and now that he is no more with us, ‘the beautiful game’ is a little less beautiful for now.
