And ahead of their FIFA friendly against Panama, 'Messi Mania' has gripped the entire nation. Such is the craze that more than 1.5 million fans applied for 63,000 available tickets for the match on March 23, all to watch their national hero play on home ground.
Lionel Scaloni's squad will play their first matches post their World Cup triumph against Panama on March 23 in Buenos Aires and against Curacao on March 28 in Santiago del Estero.
