England winger Raheem Sterling is set to rejoin the Three Lions squad in Qatar ahead of his side's all-important quarter-final clash with reigning World Champions France.

Sterling, who featured for England in their first two group encounters against Iran & USA, had returned home after an armed break-in at his family home in Surrey.

But now the English FA has issued a statement, announcing Sterling's return, with the forward set to meet up with the Three Lions squad in Al Wakrah on Friday ahead of their Saturday showdown with Les Bleus.
