Spain manager Luis Enrique announced his 26-man squad for the World Cup in Qatar and there were quite a few big names missing from the roster.
Former World Cup winner Sergio Ramos & Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara were surprise exclusions for the marquee competition. Even Manchester United's David de Gea & Real Madrid's Nacho will not be travelling to the Middle East.
A few notable names like Sergio Busquets, Ansu Fati, Pedri Gonzalez and Dani Carvajal are all part of the 26-man shortlist.
The 2010 champions had a poor tournament last time around as they crashed out in the Round of 16 to hosts Russia and will be looking for a much-improved performance this time around.
