Morocco and Croatia punched their tickets to the knockout stage of the FIFA World Cup 2022 from Group F as Morocco beat Canada 2-1, while Croatia held Belgium to a goalless draw to qualify with 5 points.
It was a heartbreaking night for Romelu Lukaku though as he attempted 5 shots, the joint-highest total for a Belgium player in a match at the 2022 World Cup. But he failed to find the back of the net as his side, ranked 2nd in the world bowed out.
On the other hand, it's turning out to be a dream tournament for Morocco, which topped a group that included two of the 2018 World Cup semi-finalists to reach the knockout stages for the first time since 1986.
Hakim ZIyech and Youssef En-Nesyri scored for Morocco as the Atlas Lions made it to the World Cup last 16 for just the second time in their history.
