Portugal's star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez have announced on social media that their newborn baby son has died.

In the social media post on Monday, Ronaldo and Rodriguez said that with the deepest sadness, they have to announce that their baby boy has passed away, it is the greatest pain that any parents can feel.
Ronaldo and Rodriguez further wrote that the birth of their baby girl gives them the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness.
Earlier, Ronaldo and Georgina announced that they were expecting twins, a boy and a girl.
