Wriddhiman Saha has made it clear that he will not reveal the identity of the journalist who threatened him, even if the BCCI asks him the name.

The Indian wicketkeeper-batter added that he never wanted to harm anybody’s career and pull a person down. In an interview with the Indian Express, Saha said that the main purpose of his tweet was to expose the fact that there’s someone in the media who does such things and disrespects a player’s wish.

Meanwhile, the Indian Cricketers' Association on Tuesday issued a statement and condemned the “threatening” message to Saha. Calling the act unacceptable, ICA urged the respective press organisations to take up the matter and ensure such things are not repeated.

Saha had openly criticised a 'respected journalist' for sending insulting messages to him after he allegedly didn't respond to his request of giving him an interview.
