World Test Championship: India consolidate 2nd spot, strengthen their final hopes

Team India further strengthened their hopes of making it to the World Test Championship final after they whitewashed Bangladesh 2-0.

India was already at the 2nd spot but have now taken their win percentage to 58.93. 

South Africa with a win percentage of 54.55 is also in contention of finishing in top 2 but will face a stiff challenge from leaders Australia in the 3rd and final Test.

The final standings will be decided after India play its 4 Tests vs Australia at home starting in February.
