Allan Border was left angry after the 1st Test in Nagpur, not just by Australia's humiliating defeat but due to a gesture by Steve Smith.

The former Australia skipper gave a thumbs up to an Indian bowler when he was beaten outside off on one of the deliveries and that didn't go down well with Border.

Speaking to Fox Cricket, the Aussie legend asked Australia to play with a harder edge. 'We’re giving blokes the thumbs up when they’re beating us outside the off stump. What the hell is going on? That is just ridiculous,' Border added.

The 67-year-old also feels suggested not to 'go stupid,' but wants Australia to play 'hard nose cricket.'
