Giving an apt display of the spirit of the game, the Nepal cricket team won many hearts after their wicketkeeper did not run out an Ireland batter who was obstructed by the bowler.

The rare on-field incident took place during Nepal vs Ireland T20 international game at Al Almerat Stadium in Muscat.

While talking to Times of India, Nepal captain Sandeep Lamichhane said that his team believes in honesty and always wanted to play within the spirit of the game.

"When I saw McBrine fall down, I told Asif not to dislodge the bails and it's amazing to see he reacted to that quickly and that shows how good this team is", the 21-year-old Nepal captain added.
