Washington Sundar is injured once again.

The all-rounder injured his left shoulder on Wednesday during a Royal London One-Day Championship game against Worcestershire, because of which he left the field after receiving treatment following a heavy landing during fielding.

Sundar was named in Team India's squad for the 3-match ODI series in Zimbabwe, starting August 18. But the injury has now cast a cloud over his participation on the tour.

Injuries are nothing new to Sundar has he has been often ruled out of tournaments due to them. Most recently, he injured his bowling hand while playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2022 and missed a considerable number of matches.

He joined county side Lancashire to regain his match fitness last month and played a couple of matches for them in the County Championship Division One. Sundar was now playing the Royal London One-Day Championship matches.
