The much-anticipated India vs Pakistan match at T20 World Cup on October 23 might go down the drain as rain is likely to play spoilsport in Melbourne.

It's been raining in and around Melbourne for the past few days and the met department has predicted a downpour on Sunday as well.

According to Weather25.com, it will rain at the MCG for the entire day and the showers will get intense around 6 PM local time. India's opening game of the tournament against the arch-rivals is scheduled to begin at 7 PM.

In case the match gets washed out, both teams will be awarded a point each. Interestingly, it will be a full house as all tickets for the game were sold out within moments of going on sale.
