'Someone else took credit for decisions I took in Australia,' claims Rahane

Ajinkya Rahane's comments on India's historic Test series win in Australia has sparked a fresh controversy. During an episode of 'Backstage With Boria', Rahane said claimed that there were some decisions that he took on the field or in the dressing room but someone else took the credit for it.

After losing the Adelaide Test in which Team India was all out for 36, the visitors bounced back at the MCG under new leader Ajinkya Rahane and went to win the Test series 2-1. Rahane added that he knows what he did there and he doesn't need to tell that to anyone. 'That's not my nature to go and take credit,' he further said.

Though he didn't take any names but his comments could well be a dig at the then head coach Ravi Shastri, who was widely acclaimed for the team's performance.
