Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has come out in support of Sarfaraz Khan, who didn't find a place in India's Test squad against Australia despite being in stunning form over the last 3 domestic seasons.
Talking about how the Mumbai batter is making a strong statement with consistent runs, Ashwin said, "Sarfaraz Khan is not just smashing the selection doors. He is burning them."
“This season, he has scored almost 600 runs. He has made a strong statement with his sheer performances. He is averaging in excess of 100 in the last three seasons at a high strike rate as well," Ashwin said on his Youtube channel.
