After a successful comeback to the T20I, Ravichandran Ashwin is likely to be included in India's ODIs squad for the South Africa series.
According to a report in Cricbuzz, selectors are all set to bring him back when they name India's squad for the series in January. Ashwin has been out of the ODI set-up ever since the management put their trust in the spin duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav in 2017.
The report added that Ravindra Jadeja, who missed the Test series due to a forearm injury, is likely to miss the ODI series as well. In his absence, Ashwin might join Axar Patel and Chahal in the squad. The off-spinner made a surprise comeback to the T20 set-up when he was selected for the T20 World Cup in the UAE.
