Another innings, another failure.

The way Virat Kohli started his innings by smashing three fours at Lord’s on Thursday, people started wondering whether his long drought will finally come to an end. But, much to their disappointment, Kohli’s stay lasted only 25 balls.

His contemporary Babar Azam who is currently ruling the ICC Men's ODI rankings though had some words of encouragement for Virat Kohli after yet another disappointing show.

Babar, who many consider can rival the Indian superstar’s legacy in years to come, took to Twitter to voice his support for the out-of-form Kohli.

After Kohli's facile dismissal, Azam posted a picture of himself with Virat Kohli and tweeted, 'This too shall pass. Stay strong.'His post has won the hearts of netizens, both in India and in Pakistan.

Virat Kohli's last international ton came in November 2019. Since then, his form has nosedived. Kohli in the rescheduled Test match against England scored 11 & 20 in the 2 innings. In the T20I series that followed, the 33-year-old who played the 2nd & 3rd T20Is ended up collecting just 12 runs from his two outings.
