In a delighting news for MS Dhoni fans, the former India skipper will lead the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the 2023 season of the IPL, CSK CEO Kashi Vishwanath confirmed.

MSD had given up captaincy ahead of the 2022 season but had to take up the responsibility midway as Ravindra Jadeja's performance was being affected by captaincy.

The 41-year-old wicketkeeper has been leading CSK since the start of the IPL and has led the Yellow Army to 4 IPL titles. However, the Super Kings had a forgettable last IPL season and finished 9th.
