Morne Morkel to join New Zealand coaching group for T20 World Cup

Former South African pacer Morne Morkel is all set to join New Zealand women's coaching group at the T20 World Cup 2023.

The 38-year-old, who was recently part of Namibia's coaching staff during the Men's T20 World Cup in Australia, will give fast bowling and general coaching support to the White Ferns during the tournament. 

After accepting the offer, Morkel stated that he was waiting for the opportunity to experience coaching in women's cricket.

The 2023 Women's T20 World Cup is set to be played in South Africa and New Zealand will play their first match vs Australia on February 11.
