Ace pacer Japrit Bumrah who has been out of action since September underwent back surgery in Christchurch, New Zealand.
As per a Cricbuzz report, while the 29-year-old's surgery has been successful, he is expected to remain on the sidelines for the coming 6 months.
Bumrah who did not play in the Asia Cup, T20 World Cup 2022 due to his injury might return just in time for the ODI World Cup 2023 which will be played in October.
