Days after the Asian Games squad call-up, IPL 2023 breakout star Rinku Singh was named in the squad for the upcoming India tour of Ireland.
'It’s an amazing feeling, not easy for me to describe in words,' Rinku told The Indian Express after the squad announcement.
For the southpaw, playing for the national team feels like a dream he does not want to wake up from.
Coming from a humble background, the Aligarh native said, 'I have reached this level from absolutely nothing. I am an emotional person, and everytime I talk to my parents, we end up crying.'
