IPL 2022: Moeen Ali set to play Chennai Super Kings' 2nd match vs Lucknow Super Giants

Good news for Chennai Super Kings(CSK), as their star all-rounder Moeen Ali who missed the first match of the season is set to begin his IPL 2022 campaign against Lucknow Super Giants(LSG) on 31st March. 

Moeen Ali arrived late in India due to his visa issues, after finishing his mandatory 3-day quarantine, the English player will now be available for Chennai's 2nd match, the franchise confirmed. The Ravindra Jadeja-led side had retained Moeen Ali ahead of the IPL mega auctions. While Ali is back, CSK will still miss the services of Deepak Chahar who is nursing a quadriceps injury currently.

The defending champions suffered a bitter 6 wicket loss against Kolkata Knight Riders in their first match of the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League.
