India vs West Indies: Rohit Sharma gives his injury update after retiring hurt in the 3rd T20I

Indian fans had their hearts in their mouth when Rohit Sharma retired hurt during India's 3rd T20I vs West Indies. Rohit was batting on 11 off 5 balls, having smashed a six and a four before he pulled a muscle and walked off holding his back.

The BCCI later revealed that Rohit had a back spasm. The Hitman though confirmed after the game that at the moment, his back was ok. 'We've got a few days till the next game. Hopefully, it should be okay,' added the Indian skipper.

The 35-year-old opener remember, had also suffered a hamstring injury during the home series against New Zealand in November last year, following which he was sent to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) for recovery.
