As Team India take on New Zealand in the 3-match T20I series, Bhuvneshwar Kumar has a chance of achieving a personal feat. The pacer is just 4 wickets away from becoming the leading wicket-taker in T20Is in a calendar year.

Ireland's Joshua Little holds the record for taking the most wickets in a calendar year. He has taken 39 wickets in 26 matches in 2022.

Bhuvneshwar made his T20I debut in 2012 and recently became India's all-time leading wicket-taker in the shortest format at the T20 World Cup.
