Team India's preparations for the 2023 ODI World Cup will begin in full swing when they take on Bangladesh in the three-match ODI series, starting December 4.

The first ODI of the three-match series will be played at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.

After missing the New Zealand tour, captain Rohit Sharma and senior batters Virat Kohli and KL Rahul will return to the ODI fold with an eye on ODI World Cup next year.

It will be interesting to see who will partner Rohit at the top given both Shikhar Dhawan and Rahul are part of the Indian squad.

With Mohammed Shami ruled out of the ODI series, Shardul Thakur, Deepak Chahar and Mohammed Siraj are likely to be Indian pacers. While the spin department is likely to be handled by Washington Sundar and Axar Patel.
