Team India head coach Rahul Dravid, who was with the Indian limited-overs squad which faced South Africa in the 5-match T20 series, joined the Test squad in Leicester on Tuesday.

BCCI posted pictures of him having an intense team talk with the Test squad which is due to play a 4-day one-off practice match against county side Leicestershire starting June 24. The Indian Test team, now led by Rohit Sharma, have a 2-1 lead in the rescheduled Test series and the postponed final Test will now be played on July 1.

The 5th and the final Test of that 2021 series was postponed after Covid-19 outbreak in the Indian camp. If Rohit's men manage to win or draw the Edgbaston Test, it will be their first Test series victory in England since 2007.
