Team India pulled off a thrilling win from the jaws of defeat on Friday as they beat West Indies by 8 runs in the 2nd T20I to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3-match series.

Put into bat, Virat Kohli took India off to a solid start with 52. Rishabh Pant and Venkatesh Iyer then put together a fiery 76-run stand and guided the Men in Blue to 186/5.

Chasing which West Indies lost 2 wickets with 59 runs on the board. But Nicholas Pooran and Rovman Powell turned the game on its head with a century-run stand. But despite both scoring fiery fifties, the hosts defended the total. With that India also completed 100 wins in T20 cricket.
