IND vs SL 2nd ODI: Cricket Association of Bengal to pay tribute to Pele

The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) will pay a tribute to legendary footballer Pele during the second ODI between India and Sri Lanka at the Eden Gardens on Thursday.

CAB's joint secretary Debabrata Das informed that a laser show has been arranged during the innings break of the game for the Brazilian star, who passed away on 29th December 2022. 

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and surviving Mohun Bagan team members who played against the legendary football superstar when he came to Eden Gardens to play for New York Cosmos Club on September 24, 1977, have also been invited.
