Indian cricketer Shardul Thakur ahead of the 2nd ODI against South Africa admitted missing MS Dhoni's presence in the team.

The 2nd ODI of the 3-match series between the 2 nations will be played in Ranchi, ex-Indian skipper MS Dhoni's hometown, which apparently led to the question of the prolific retired cricketer being missed in the team.

During the press conference, the allrounder who has played alongside MSD in the national and IPL team, CSK said, 'Everybody misses him because his experience matters a lot. He has played more than 300 ODIs, close to 90 Tests, and a lot of T20Is. So this much-experienced player, it is rare that you come across such an experienced player. We miss him definitely.'
